Dorna Rumored to Push VR46 for 2026 MotoGP Rider Change

Journalist Markus Zorweg reported “rumors” that Dorna has suggested VR46 consider replacing Morbidelli. “Dorna doesn’t directly control team rider choices, but as promoter, it often leverages its influence to ensure a competitive grid,” Zorweg noted. Speculation suggests Di Giannantonio is in talks with Ducati for a potential factory seat in 2027, though some reports question the third factory bike allocation to VR46 due to his adaptation challenges.
