Marc Marquez once again proved his class. The Ducati Lenovo Team rider delivered a stellar performance, clinching pole position in the 2025 Aragon MotoGP qualifying session. Riding the Desmosedici GP25, Marquez posted the best time and will start from the front for Sunday’s race.
In a surprising turn, his younger brother Alex Marquez secured second place with the Ducati GP24 from the BK8 Gresini team. Completing the front row is Franco Morbidelli, who brought Pertamina Enduro VR46 to third, showcasing Ducati’s consistent performance at the MotorLand Aragon circuit.
Behind them, Francesco Bagnaia will start from fourth with the Ducati GP25. Pedro Acosta, the fastest KTM rider, will line up in fifth, followed by his teammate Brad Binder in sixth. Fermin Aldeguer, the young Gresini Ducati rider, displayed remarkable maturity and will start from seventh.
Maverick Viñales, now with KTM Tech3, broke into the top eight. Fabio Quartararo and Fabio Di Giannantonio, who advanced from Q1, will start from ninth and tenth, respectively.
Joan Mir and Johann Zarco finished in 11th and 12th, representing Honda as they continue to work on improving the RC213V’s performance this season. Raul Fernandez, Jack Miller, and Alex Rins settled in the midfield, while Miguel Oliveira and Enea Bastianini struggled to find their rhythm.
